What can you do with old wooden cubes? You can bin them or your can transform them into funky photos holders as I did. You will need wooden cubes (from your kids), a pencil, ruler, junior hacksaw and a small piece of sand paper. Take the pencil and make a line in the middle of each wooden cube ,use your hacksaw to cut into cube approximately 1.5 cm deep. If you want you can insert sand paper into the cut to smooth it out as you can see on the forth picture, after that voila the holders are ready for photos...

A few weeks ago I welcomed these "puppies" from Freepeople to my shoes collection. The shoes are super cool but the packaging is even cooler, definitely one of the kind. I have to say, I love pretty shoe boxes.....
