A touch of colour.

I like colour even if I am dressed in black from head to toe, and my pictures are black and white, sometimes I am not a stranger to colours like red, orange or green.

Recently I discovered these colourful Ice watches; and I instantly loved them because they reminded me a packet of Haribo sweets, full of colour and fun. They are perfect for upcoming autumn’s dark days. They can brighten up your outfit and mood and what is best you can buy them on ebay for a good price….

What I found

What I found in my e-mail box…  I got familiar with Yoox a couple of months ago when I was searching for a nice pair of shoes. Unfortunately their shoes were too pricy for me, so I let it go and now because I have an account with them and I signed up for their newsletter, Yoox send me e-mails about their promotions. Mostly their promotions are related to fashion and I can say I am very tempted because their shoes are truly, truly amazing but today surprisingly I got a different Yoox promotion: Home Design, so I clicked on link (see below). I have to say it’s nice stuff so it’s a shame that I can not afford it at the moment because I booked a trip to Lisbon (but that is for different blog). Even I could not afford most of the items but I checked their book and I was amazed by their collection, from myself I can recommend 1000 New Eco Design and Where to Find them by Rebecca Proctor.

This book is mainly about eco design. It contains ideas about how to decorate our homes with products that do not harm the environment. But sensitivity to our planet does not mean you have to sacrifice good design and this book provides information about designers who choose ecological materials and/or methods of productions for example recycling a cardboard or wood.

Bratislava Part 1.

As I promised I am showing you pics taken from my trip to Bratislava. Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia. The history of the city, long known by the German name Preßburg, has been strongly influenced by people of different nations and religions. The city was the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary, a part of the larger Habsburg Monarchy territories, from 1536 to 1783, and has been home to many Slovak, Hungarian, and German historical figures.

Most of the old buildings are concentrated in the old town part of the city. You can walk around admire historical buildings from roomy pedestrianised Bratislava’s streets (the amount of people visiting Bratislava is still much more less than in other capital cities), or if you are not scared of highs you can enjoy the view from St Michael’s Gate or the Old Town Hall. Visiting museums (there are many, including the tiny but interesting Clock Museum), having a lunch in one of the trendy restaurant or having amazing ice cream or coffee on Hviezdloslav Square it is no problem.

For those who wish to shop, there is a lovely traditional market near the main square of the old town, and several shops offering local crafts, which make the perfect gifts. There is also specialist chocolate shops with a tremendous range, and a designer watch shop with a truly amazing collection. There is also a modern shopping mall on the other side of the Danube where you can buy everything you could possibly want, and wile away several hours.

Bratislava has plenty of attractions to offers for guests whose want to relax in lovely city in middle Europe

Unfinished

Recently I find a lots of things unfinished….a book which for some reason takes ages to finish….a picture with just a background  painted on it….a 3D outline ….I just don’t have enough time no matter how well organized I am or how good I can multitask…I wish the day could have 26 hours….
